ColorRing.ai Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ColorRing.ai collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to the ColorRing.ai website, the merchant dashboard, and the color-matching chat widget installed on merchant storefronts.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use the data above to run the color-matching service, return accurate cross-brand matches, generate the return-rate and conversation analytics merchants see in their dashboard, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use shopper chat content to advertise to shoppers.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers required to operate ColorRing.ai — hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, and payment processing — each bound to process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Retention

Account and catalog data is retained for as long as the account is active and for a limited period afterwards so an account can be restored. Chat transcripts are retained on a rolling window for analytics. Merchants may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your choices and rights

Merchants can view, correct, export, or delete their account and catalog data from the dashboard or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

ColorRing.ai uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure, plus limited analytics to understand aggregate product usage. The storefront widget does not set advertising cookies.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and credentials are rotated. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data in line with industry practice.

Children

ColorRing.ai is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date. Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, can be sent to our support address from the FAQ page. See also our Terms of Service.
